September 6 2016: This week will will continue are talk on 'Energy' looking more closely at energy use at La Paz.
1. Campus Tour: how does Energy flow in and out of our campus? Consider water, solar, and electric. In groups of 2-3, take a walk of our campus and in your journals, document where you see water, solar and electric energy flowing in and out. Designate a page for each energy type (water/solar/electric) and write descriptions and draw pictures/diagrams to explain the water, solar and electric energy you see flowing in and out of campus.
2. Return to class and debrief our campus tour findings. Make group lists (one for each type of energy) on butcher paper to have up in the class as a reference/guide.
3. Exit Card: What is something I learned today about Energy Flow at our school? What is something I am more curious about after class today?
